The upcoming symposium, to be held during the IASLC-Asia Conference on Lung Cancer, aims to review how the landscape of lung cancer treatment has been transformed by innovative therapies, particularly immunotherapy, and discuss the triumphs and pressing challenges faced by countries in the Asia-Pacific region regarding unmet needs, including access to immunotherapy and innovative treatments for metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). As the treatment landscape for lung cancer continues to evolve, it is essential to confront these barriers and emphasize the long-term data supporting the use of immunotherapy in this context.  The symposium will serve as an important platform for clinicians to share both global and regional perspectives on the significant advancements in the field, along with the evidence necessary to address data gaps and enhance access to immunotherapy for patients diagnosed with NSCLC. While so doing, the symposium will provide a future-looking perspective on the future of NSCLC treatment, promoting a better understanding of the current and upcoming landscape aimed at improving patient outcomes and overall treatment paradigm.
